This really isn't even a recipe but more of a fun drink that I threw together one hot day in January. I think the temperatures reached 82 degrees. Really?! The warm weather had me craving a icy drink. I'm obsessed with the Hansen's flavored sodas. The strawberry kiwi one is my favorite! I don't drink sodas anymore but on occasion I will treat myself to one. Instead of drinking the soda straight from the can, I decided to add frozen strawberries. I used my Vitamix which made turned this into perfect slushy consistency in seconds. No Vitamix? Just use your blender and blend until smooth! You could also use Sprite instead of the flavored Hansen's soda. Blueberries would also be fabulous! Enjoy!

I am starting to incorporate smoothies in my diet and noticed that you have a vitamix blender. Can your really notice the difference from a regular blender?
ReplyDeleteHi there! Yes, I love my Vitamix! I got mine at Costco. It really is so much more powerful than a standard blender. It makes things so much smoother in just seconds, particularly green monster smoothies! I can also make soups, nut butters, salad dressings, and more!
